Crosscast for YouTube
Publish and schedule to your YouTube channel
Crosscast is a cross-posting tool for video creators. You upload a video once, write a title and description, and Crosscast publishes it to your YouTube channel — immediately or at a time you schedule. The same upload can go to TikTok and Instagram in the same step, so you stop re-uploading the same file to three apps.
What Crosscast does
- Publish to YouTube. Upload a video and post it to your channel with the title, description, tags and privacy setting you choose.
- Schedule ahead. Pick a date and time and Crosscast uploads it for you at that moment — no need to be at your desk.
- Cross-post in one flow. Send the same video to TikTok and Instagram Reels alongside YouTube, with a different caption per platform.
- Track what went out. A queue shows each post’s status per platform, with a link to the published video.
How Crosscast uses your Google account data
Connecting a channel is optional and happens through Google’s own consent screen. Crosscast requests two YouTube scopes and uses them only for the purposes below.
Upload videos to your channel

- Permission to upload a video file to the channel you connected.
- Why we need it
- When you publish or schedule a post with YouTube selected, Crosscast uploads your video file together with the title, description, tags and privacy setting you entered in the composer. Nothing is uploaded unless you create the post.
- What we never do
- Crosscast never reads, edits or deletes videos already on your channel.
Read your channel’s name and picture

- Your channel title, custom URL and thumbnail — read once, right after you connect.
- Why we need it
- They are shown on your Connected accounts page and next to every scheduled post, so you can confirm which channel a post will publish to. A single Google account can own several channels through Brand Accounts, so the Google account alone does not tell you which one you authorised.
- What we never do
- Crosscast never reads your playlists, subscriptions, comments, watch history or analytics.
Storage, sharing and revoking access
The access and refresh tokens Google issues are encrypted with an application key before they are stored, on top of the encryption at rest provided by our database, and are used only to carry out actions you have explicitly created in Crosscast — the security section of our privacy policy sets out every measure in full. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train machine-learning models. Crosscast’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect a channel at any time from your Connected accounts page, which deletes the stored tokens. You can also revoke Crosscast’s access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. By connecting a channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
